She reveals through these concise poems, some insight and compassion for those who are in this situation. She hopes that this collection may be used by lay persons and professionals alike. Her ultimate goal for this collection is to help others understand and empathize, and then to result in some personal action, however small or large, to reach out a hand to our brothers and sisters in their time of need.
