Love One Another - Part 1
4/17/2026
Probably the most widely debated and most misunderstood word in our culture today is “love.” We hear things like “love is love.” But can we find anything more descriptive than that? “Yes, of course!” says Pastor John today. The real definition of love is found in the Word of God and is exemplified to its highest degree in the life of Jesus Christ. Love means: “to seek the highest good of the beloved.” That’s what Jesus did for you. And that’s what He commands you to do for your brothers and sisters.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Peter, chapter 1, as he begins his message, Love One Another.

The Wonder of Redemption - Part 2
4/16/2026
How would you feel if you were in a desperate, hopeless situation, and someone saw you and did something to save you? Today, Pastor John has a message that takes that question even farther. Suppose the person not only saved you, but did so at a great personal cost? What if they sacrificed something precious? What if someone gave his own life to save you? Or, the life of his son? That’s what God did for you: God the Father redeemed you at the price of the blood of His Own Son.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Peter, chapter 1, as he continues his message, The Wonder of Redemption.

The Wonder of Redemption - Part 1
4/15/2026
Sometimes when you’re listening to a Bible message, you hear a lot of big words, like “redemption” and “salvation.” And it’s possible to let those words go in one ear and out the other. But today, Pastor John says, “Hold on!” These are not just interesting theological ideas; they have real, practical ramifications. When you know what it means to be redeemed, that is, that you were purchased and set free, it’s gonna change the way you live. Especially when you know the price that was paid.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Peter, chapter 1, as he begins his message, The Wonder of Redemption.

Staying Clean In A Polluted World - Part 2
4/14/2026
Finish this sentence: God is “blank.” What did you get? Probably a lot of people would say, “love.” Others might say “God is great, God is good.” But do you know what the number one most-referred-to attribute of God is in the Bible? Today, Pastor John tells you: “God is holy.” And that can be puzzling because holiness is probably one of the least well-understood attributes of God. You can be holy because God is holy. But to do that, you first need to understand: “what does ‘holy’ mean?”
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Peter, chapter 1, as he continues his message, Staying Clean In A Polluted World.

Staying Clean In A Polluted World - Part 1
4/13/2026
When people think of heaven, what images come to mind? Certainly, there are some who’ve seen the old cartoons of people sitting on clouds playing harps. But there are a lot of better images as well. Streets of gold, tree of life, beautiful city. Today, Pastor John suggests that one of the most amazing things about heaven will be to finally see and understand the magnificent wisdom and beauty of God’s plan of redemption. What you can’t understand here, you will there. And it will be glorious!
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Peter, chapter 1, as he begins his message, Staying Clean In A Polluted World.

Celebration of Salvation (Study 2) - Part 2
4/10/2026
When the trials of life come, it can often seem that there’s no end. While some situations get resolved quickly, others go on and on. Sometimes they cascade one upon another, and sometimes they get worse and worse over time. Why is this? Today, Pastor John unveils God’s inner purposes for the trials in your life. And whatever trials you may be currently facing, there’s one thing to always keep in mind: God is in control. He has His Hand on the throttle and knows just what He’s doing.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Peter, chapter 1, as he continues his message, Celebration of Salvation – Part 2.

Celebration of Salvation (Study 2) - Part 1
4/9/2026
Of all the unexplainable problems about the goodness of God that you’ll run into, probably none is greater than the existence of suffering. Yet today, Pastor John shows that suffering should not be a surprise and that it has a purpose. Satan tempts us to bring out our worst, but God tests us to bring out our worth. When your faith is being tested, it’s showing you that it can be trusted. There are so many positive things that come with trials, you’ll want to hear all of them. Some may surprise you.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 Peter, chapter 1, as he begins his message, Celebration of Salvation – Part 2.

What do you do when you need strength from God? If you’re in a situation of temptation or discouragement, where can you turn? Today, Pastor John recounts an event from the life of the apostle Peter that gives a good clue. Jesus told Peter that he would fail, but afterward he’d be restored. And what was Peter told to do then? “Strengthen your brothers.” Throughout the book of Acts, Peter did just that. And he’s still doing that today, as you read his words, inspired by the Holy Spirit.

The Mind of Christ - Part 2
4/6/2026
Suppose you took a survey of your friends, and asked: “of every person who’s ever lived, who do you personally hold in the highest esteem?” What answers would you get? You might get a political figure, maybe a scientist, or a philosopher. Some people may name an athlete. Or, possibly one of their parents, or their pastor. But today, Pastor John emphasizes in the strongest possible language that NO ONE ever has been, or ever will be, even remotely as highly exalted as Jesus Christ. Was that your answer?
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Philippians, chapter 2, as he begins his message, The Mind of Christ, Part 2.

The Word of Committal - Part 1
4/3/2026
Recently, I had a procedure in the hospital that required general anesthesia. That morning, and then throughout the preparation process, I was keenly aware that I was putting my life in the hands of the anesthesiologist. Today, Pastor John shows how Jesus’s final words from the cross showed a far greater trust: “Into Your Hands I commend my Spirit.” He was saying: I trust You, Father; I put my life in Your Hands. Whose hands are you trusting in? Will you put your trust in the hands of God the Father today?
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Luke, chapter 23, as he begins his message, The Word of Committal.

The Word of Agony - Part 1
4/2/2026
Of all the utterances spoken by Jesus on the cross, none is more enigmatic than these words: “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” Today, Pastor John takes you into the great, great mystery of this cry of the Savior. Did God the Father actually separate from and forsake God the Son? Is this the cup about which Jesus prayed in Gethsemane that God would remove? What was in that cup? One thing is certain: Jesus bore your sins on that cross. And He actually became your sin.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Matthew, chapter 27, as he begins his message, The Word of Agony.

The Word of Affection - Part 1
4/1/2026
Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve been unjustly accused, and almost everyone abandoned you? Today, Pastor John shows that’s exactly the situation Jesus faced at His crucifixion. He had been unjustly accused. And only five of His faithful followers stood beneath His cross. Yet, despite His own agony, Jesus was thinking of them. In fact, He took the time to give Mary to John as his mother, and John to Mary as her son. In any situation you face, you can count on this: Jesus is thinking of you.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of John, chapter 19, as he begins his message, The Word of Affection.

The Word of Salvation - Part 1
3/31/2026
It’s easy to say, “God is in control.” That is, until something happens and it seems like He isn’t. Today, Pastor John takes a unique look at a circumstance that seems like it’s out of God’s control. But it isn’t. As Jesus is crucified, there are two others crucified with him. Coincidence? Or Providence? These two men are – in a microcosm – the whole world. Each of them makes a request of Jesus. One is not of faith: “If you are the Christ.” The other is of faith: “Lord, remember me.” Which are you?

The Word of Forgiveness - Part 1
3/30/2026
If you knew you were close to death and wanted to speak some final words, what would they be? Who would you be concerned about? What would be important to say? Today, Pastor John begins his exploration of one of the most profound topics in Scripture, the seven last sayings of Jesus. And it starts with this one: “Father, forgive them, they know not what they do.” To whom was Jesus praying? To His Father. For whom was He praying? For the Romans, the Jewish leaders? Yes. But also for me. And for you.

The Mind of Christ - Part 1
3/27/2026
It’s tough when someone tells you what to do, and you don’t really understand why you should do it. It’s always a lot easier if the reasons make sense. And that’s what Pastor John is going to explain today. The Bible tells us to put Jesus first, others second, and ourselves last. But why? The answer: because that’s what Jesus did. He didn’t hold on to His deity as a member of the Godhead. He voluntarily emptied Himself and became a man. And He did that to become a servant… to you.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Philippians, chapter 2, as he begins his message, The Mind of Christ.

The Holiness Of God - Part 2
3/26/2026
Just as people have a lot of different ideas about God, they also have varying theories about Jesus. Oh, He was a good man, a great teacher. Or, He was an ancient philosopher whose ideas don’t really have much relevance in our modern world. But today, Pastor John shows that of all the expressions of the holiness of God, the greatest is Jesus, the Son of God. And it started at His conception. When you’re following Jesus, you’re following the perfect representation of God in all His fullness.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Isaiah, chapter 6, as he continues his message, God Is Holy.

The Holiness Of God - Part 1
3/25/2026
When people think about God, what kind of being or person are they imagining? Some think of Him as a kindly old man who just wants people to be happy, while others consider Him to be the Cosmic Killjoy. But what does the Bible say about God? Today, Pastor John states that of all of the characteristics of God, the very central one is His holiness. He’s never called loving, loving, loving, but He is called holy, holy, holy. What does it mean to you, in a practical way, to know that God is Holy?
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of Isaiah, chapter 6, as he begins his message, God Is Holy.

God Is Love - Part 2
3/24/2026
Aren’t you glad that God’s love isn’t like our love? No matter how much you love someone, as a fallible human, you’ll fall short. But today, Pastor John describes the love of God – a love so great that He cares for every person. You may have been a Christian for as long as you can remember. That’s because God sought you and found you. You may have been hostile and belligerent to the idea of God. But still, He sought you and found you. And God’s love will continue to seek you and to find you.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 1 John, chapter 4, as he continues his message, God Is Love.

God Is Love - Part 1
3/23/2026
Think of a great “love story.” There are plenty of these in works of fiction. Or maybe you’re fortunate enough to know two people personally who personify “love” for you. What is the defining characteristic of their love? Today, Pastor John explores the love of God. And he shows that it’s not just something God DOES, it’s what He IS. God’s love is His essential nature, and He never operates against or outside of it. So you can have confidence in the GREATEST love story of all – God’s love for you.

Paul Poured Out - Part 2
3/20/2026
I heard a famous golfer one time who was asked this question: “what’s the key to winning a tournament?” He answered: “I usually have two good days, one great day, and one bad day. The key to winning the tournament is how I manage the bad day.” Today, Pastor John gives an example from the apostle Paul, when he asked for Mark to be sent to him. Previously, Mark had let Paul down. But now, he’s become valuable to Paul. Wherever you may have failed, God has a way to restore you for His purposes.
Now, let’s join Pastor John in the book of 2 Timothy, chapter 4, as he continues his message, Paul Poured Out.
