The Tennessee Titans had one pick on Day 2 of the NFL Draft and they were not content to sit around and wait for it as they trade up to select linebacker Anthony Hill out of Texas. Hill is Robert Saleh's perfect linebacker as he has great length, athleticism and violent tendencies out on the field. Hill needs to polish his game and be better in coverage, but he is a great fit next to Cedric Gray as the linebacker tandem of the future. Now the Titans can turn their focus to Day 3 where they have five more picks. They have the ammo to move up and down the board as needed with offensive line still a major need that must be addressed. The Tennessee Titans took big swings in the first round of the NFL Draft, taking Carnell Tate ahead of some of the top defensive players and trading up to take the uncertain Keldric Faulk, but with big swings comes big risk and that is the only way to grade the Titans first day. Tate's upside may be capped and Faulk's potential is not a guarantee, so the Titans can only receive a B- for their effort. The draft has only just begun though and the Titans still have plenty of picks remaining to snag potential starters. While they are limited in picks over the next 100 selections, they have enough ammo to move around and play the board. The Tennessee Titans may a bold move to trade back up into the first round of the NFL Draft and they took Keldric Faulk on the defensive line. The trade is a nice, aggressive move by the Titans to address one of their biggest needs, but Faulk is still a question mark in terms of what he can be. He unquestionably hits a need for the Titans on the edge, but can he hit his potential that we haven't seen yet on tape? The Tennessee Titans SHOCKED THE WORLD and took Carnell Tate at number four in the NFL Draft. This is a move that is clearly about helping Cam Ward reach his potential. Tate is a perfect fit for not only the Titans offense, but also matches Ward's biggest weakness and can turn it into a strength. Tate brings elite vertical ability, fantastic hands and tremendous contested skills on the outside. The Tennessee Titans sit just hours from NFL Draft kickoff and a wild possibility is on the table as George Pickens could be on the move. A swap with the Dallas Cowboys for #4 and Pickens could make sense for both sides as the Cowboys declared they would not give Pickens an extension. Is this likely? Of course not, but it is possible. The Tennessee Titans have plenty of picks in this year's NFL Draft which should give them the chance to move around the board and that could include moving BACK into the first round of the draft to get a coveted player. There are a number of players who could be available in the late first round that could cause the Titans to move at wide receiver, edge and offensive line spots. However, in the first round, it is more likely the Titans trade down from their pick at #4. Multiple teams make sense as a trade partner from that vantage point and there are also some Titans veterans that could be on the move like Will Levis or Tony Pollard. Finally, the Titans biggest needs heading into the draft are Edge Rusher, Offensive Line and Wide Receiver, but linebacker, safety and cornerback could also be spots to hit over the course of the weekend. Tennessee Titans NFL Draft rumors are EVERYWHERE and the most recent report from Peter Schrager indicates the Titans are OUT on Jeremiyah Love. The Tennessee Titans need to brace themselves for the possibility that Jeremiyah Love is not even on the board when they pick after numerous reports came out on Monday morning saying the Arizona Cardinals are set to take Jeremiyah Love at three. Many Titans fans are dead-set on taking Love at pick four and if he isn't even there it could have folks reeling. Now, many won't believe these reports and choose to call it a smokescreen, but Tyler thinks this is very real for multiple reason. The Tennessee Titans have entered draft week and after all of the weekend news it appears their choices will be down to Jeremiyah Love, David Bailey or a potential trade back. A trade back would be the best outcome, but is also probably the lowest likely outcoming leaving Love and Bailey as the choices, with Love even more likely than Bailey. If Love is the pick at four, that means the Titans three biggest needs, Edge, Wide Receiver and Interior Offensive Line, will have to be the next targets and there will be some good options available, all depending on where the rest of the first round goes. Finally, the Titans picked up the fifth-year option of Peter Skoronski in a less-than-shocking move. Jordyn Tyson is one of the top wide receiver in the NFL Draft, but injuries in his past have capped how much buzz he has been getting, but Tyson is working out for the Tennessee Titans and 17 other NFL teams on Friday in hopes to get his stock back up.
