The final episode of the 2024-25 season recaps Oklahoma State's 12th national championship with a 4-1 win over Virginia at La Costa. Burko and Brentley offer their full takeaways from the men's championship, including Florida State's disappointment, Michael La Sasso's individual title and a thrilling semifinal finish. Finally, Brentley looks ahead to next season and offers a few teams who will be expected to be among the nation's best.

In this episode, which includes an intro (sorry for last week!), Burko and Brentley recap one of the greatest upsets of all-time, Northwestern's 3-2 win over Stanford in the NCAA women's final. They talk Maria Jose Marin's individual win, then give Stanford and Anne Walker plenty of praise for their amazing season and sportsmanship. Northwestern's first NCAA title is heavily discussed, including the remarkable journeys of Lauryn Nguyen and her family. After that, they shift gears to the men, who start Friday. Favorites, concerns, sleepers; all are broken down. Finally, a surprising coaching decision and more disdain for the transfer portal.

Burko and Brentley break down all that was at this week's NCAA men's regionals, where LSU made the wrong kind of history, Augusta surprised again and Florida State's Luke Clanton made things interesting as it pertains to the Haskins Award race.

Burko and Brentley recap each of the six NCAA Division I women's golf regionals that concluded earlier this week. They talk about who advanced, who didn't and which teams were perhaps motivated by their pre-tournament picks. Also, there is plenty of criticism of the transfer portal, which hit one particular team hard right before regionals – and yet, said team still found a way to qualify for its first NCAA Championship.

In this week's episode, Burko and Brentley are coming off a busy Selection Wednesday. They break down each of the six NCAA Division I men's golf regionals, spill their facts and nuggets, identify their upsets and sleepers, and make their picks.

Maybe the most comprehensive show we've done. USC's Justin Silverstein is back, as is tradition, to help Burko and Brentley preview the NCAA women's golf regionals, whose fields were recently revealed. They comb through all six sites and pick who they think will advance. There's chalk. There are upsets predicted, including a certain No. 2 seed down in Baton Rouge and a No. 3 seed on the Plains. If you're a fan of college golf, or a coach or player competing, you'll want to listen to this.

After another week off for the Masters, Burko and Brentley reconvene to spin through the many women's conference championships already in the books, from exciting finishes at the Big 12s and ASUN, to conference-title firsts around the association. They discuss SECs and ACCs, both in progress, before previewing some of the men's tourneys on tap. The .500 rule is talked about, as is the magic number. Finally, they update everyone on former Kent State coach Herb Page, who continues to battle cancer. We love you, Herbie!

Burko and Brentley are in Augusta on the eve of the Augusta National Women's Amateur, which begins Wednesday. They discuss whether Lottie Woad is the favorite, Mirabel Ting's historic season, an injury to a top-5 amateur (and subsequent WD), Anna Davis' round of the year and much, much more. They then do their annual snake draft, picking seven players each; Burko thinks he has a sleeper that will help him get his revenge on Brentley. Finally, we talk hoops and a huge matchup between Florida-Auburn (aka Burko-Clinard).

In this episode of College Golf Talk, Burko is back from Spring Break as he joins Brentley and guest Jake Amos, the first-year head coach for LSU. The Tigers are now up to sixth in the country following a statement win at Pauma Valley. Amos talks about smashing expectations, establishing a culture and keeping it all going for a couple more months. Burko and Brentley then dive into the latest results, including the Valspar Collegiate, where Texas prevailed and then rose to No. 1 in the country. Historic runs by Stanford and FSU's Mirable Ting on the women's side continue. Finally, Brentley gets some advice on his NCAA Tournament survivor league.

With regular host – and temporary Michigan State fan – Burko off this week, Brentley seeks out former Alabama golfer Canon Claycomb as a fill-in for the annual March Madness episode. They first get into a myriad of results, from LSU's statement win at Pauma Valley to Wake Forest's 3-0 performance at Old Barnwell in a premier women's match-play event. Luke Potter's incident with Rory McIlroy is discussed, as is PGA Tour University Accelerated – specifically why Brentley doesn't see another 20-point guy after Jackson Koivun for some time. Then Duke's Ethan Evans, fresh off a runner-up at the General Hackler, joins from the team van (apologies on the audio, but it gives us character!). He fields a few golf questions before we get into the important business. Ethan is a ball-knower, and he certainly shows off his knowledge of college hoops. Canon carries McNeese's water as a potential Cinderella. And Brentley goes chalk (unsurprisingly). After a week off so Brentley could enjoy some time with his family and kid No. 2, George, he and Burko catch up on one of the biggest two-week stretches of the year. Southern Highlands, Cabo, Darius Rucker – it's all discussed in depth while the guys also welcome Auburn's Nick Clinard, who dishes on the No. 1 Tigers and their looming NCAA title defense later this spring, plus his standout sophomore – and future PGA Tour member – Jackson Koivun. There is also a March Madness bet made between Nick and Burko (Florida). Many other results are spun through before things close with Brentley dreaming of the days of the Pizza Hut buffet.

He did it, folks! Florida State junior Luke Clanton has his PGA Tour card after making the cut at the Cognizant Classic and earning his 20th and final PGA Tour U Accelerated point. In this episode of College Golf Talk, Burko and Brentley discuss the great achievement while Brentley empties the notebook from a week of following Clanton and writing about his incredible journey. The guys then preview some huge tournaments on the docket – Cabo, Southern Highlands and the Darius Rucker, which will be on Golf Channel. Some results are discussed before Brentley catches up with UCLA head coach Alicia Um Holmes following the Bruins' much-needed home win in the post-Campos/Canales era.

In this week's episode, Burko and Brentley welcome Florida State director of golf Trey Jones, whose golf programs – and junior Luke Clanton – dominated the headlines this past week. Clanton is a big topic, as well as what can we expect from the Seminoles, both men and women, later this spring. Big results are discussed, from the Watersound to the Gator to Moon Golf, before Brentley reports on a few news items, including another All-American departing UCLA.

In this episode of College Golf Talk, Burko joins Brentley from the road ahead of a big A-10 women's hoops matchup to break down some of the top results in college golf, from Big Tom Morrison's win at the Amer Ari to the Stanford women staying dominant to a wild – and flu-filled – Puerto Rico Classic, where Purdue got its biggest win of the Andrew Sapp era. The episode is capped with an in-depth interview with Ole Miss junior Cohen Trolio, who transferred from LSU last summer and has returned to being a relevant name in elite amateur golf. Trolio talks about past struggles and expectations, what he's learned, and what it will take to not only win an NCAA title but for him to make the PGA Tour one day.

On this episode, Steve Burkowski and Brentley Romine welcome in Arkansas women's coach Shauna Taylor, whose Razorbacks are fresh off their fourth win of the season. They discuss why this program plays with such a chip on their shoulder, her current marvelous Maria (Jose Marin) and her former marvelous Maria (Fassi), and lastly, how she got her own menu item at Fayetteville staple Herman's Ribhouse. Once Shauna departs (presumably to go order The Shauna), the guys spin through a bunch of recent results, from USC's big win at Palos Verdes to Texas' Daniel Bennett proving he belongs in the Longhorns' victory at the Southwestern to debating just how far Vanderbilt can go with Gordon Sargent continuing to struggle. The episode closes with a preview of the Amer Ari and why Auburn is down a couple stars, and then Burko shares his upcoming hoops schedule.

Steve Burkowski and Brentley Romine return from winter break to preview the NCAA golf spring season. They discuss superstar Luke Clanton and Florida State's chances in the ACC, Stanford's continued dominance, South Carolina's midseason addition from Thailand and much, much more.

Burko and Brentley reunited to button up the fall season. They go over some of the latest results, including Stanford's victory in Hawaii, before discussing the fall's winners and losers. There is plenty of Cardinal talk on the women's side, Ole Miss is given its due for being No. 1 in men's golf, and Brentley also wonders what has happened to the stars on the men's side. Of course, Brentley's disgust with Clippd's decision to put some results behind a paywall for teams is further dissected, too. Lots to talk about in this one. Hope you and enjoy. Brentley and Ben hit all the big tournaments of the past week, one of which Ben attended. They discuss David Ford's hot fall and why he's Mr. October, Oklahoma State's crazy stat that ended this week and Arkansas' flex at the Stephens Cup. USC's Jasmine Koo, fresh off her win at Stanford, joins the pod for a fun interview, Hall of Fame inductions are discussed and there is also some sad news to share with the passing of legendary Cal coach Nancy McDaniel.

For the first time in 111 episodes, Burko and Brentley are together live – and what better place to do it at than the Rusacks Hotel in St. Andrews, where just hours earlier Northwestern's men and Arizona's women won the team titles at the St. Andrews Links Collegiate on the Old Course. After some brief discussion over hotel minutiae, Northwestern head coach David Inglis, a Scotland native from just down the road in Edinburgh, is welcomed on the pod. The conversation is wide-ranging, including the Wildcats' growth this fall, Inglis' connection with St. Andrews, Luke Donald (inarguably the Wildcats' greatest alum), Matt Fitzpatrick (arguably the greatest single-semester alum), NCAA golf future and much more. The episode ends with Burko and Brentley about to crack open an IRN BRU, which Burko is very unsure about when told it tastes like bubblegum. (Behind the scenes: Burko did try it, nearly spit it out because of the carbonation, but finished the can like a champ.)

On this week's episode of College Golf Talk, Brentley gets ahead of the hurricane and welcomes former college player Frankie Capan III, who just earned his PGA Tour via the Korn Ferry Tour. Capan talks going from an SEC school to a mid-major, his unique path to the KFT, the key to being a great putter and his expectations for the PGA Tour, which includes the goal of making a certain team next fall.
