August Footsteps smells Autumn on the horizon. The mood is one of reflection, the songs play out accordingly. In all of them there is sorrow, freedom, fear, and fury. In this the 14th Episode of record club A.V. Sharkboy spins some sugar with new releases from The Beths and Tuxis Giant. Madonovan dedicates his part of the show to the Liverpool Psychedelic Society tour he has been invited to play over 3 nights of the August Bank Holiday. So he'll be discussing the other bands involved and playing music by some of the performers. Including a couple of exclusives and premiering one of his tracks from the forthcoming Madonovan LP. Plus there will be a playing of a great new track by Seadog.

Why I’m No Good at Snooker: Welcome to I Picture the Scene! In today's introductory show, we explore the nostalgia of my childhood through the music of Depeche Mode, Yazoo, Gary Numan and Laurel & Hardy.

Including roots reggae from The Reborns, art rock with The False Dawns, the witty electro pop of Boy Jr., mutant techno courtesy of Lewis Ryder, cool hip-hop from Korban Baxter, the noise rock of Inch, plus plenty more gems. From out of the vaults come the kruatrock of Neu!, a peerless slice of house from A Guy Called Gerald, plus Carmel produced by Brian Eno. One from the archive that never got loaded up until August 2025! I've broken my leg so putting this show up for broadcast. For this show I had a look thru one of my old note-books to see all the stupid ideas I had that never came to fruition and there's a guest track from my wierd friend Mr Egg too. Also some dreadful technical issues but ignore that, part of the charm eh. More importantly of course I chose some tracks of new and forthcoming music.
