Illinois State opts in to landmark settlement that allows direct payments to student athletes

Illinois State University Director of Athletics Jeri Beggs said that's the most dramatic change we've seen yet in college sports.

Some massage therapists feel heard as Bloomington modifies regulations, but concerns linger

For the first time, the City of Bloomington is regulating an industry that it says has been a source for sex trafficking and other illicit behavior.
A number of massage therapists in the city pushed back, claiming they were being unfairly held in suspicion. They also took exception to proposed annual fees and language referring to dress code, individual therapists’ personal information and physical characteristics.

LeRoy T-ball Spectacular is a hit with kids and families

LeRoy kids had a lot of fun while learning about teamwork and friendly competition at their T-ball end-of-season celebration.
Friday's LeRoy Summer League T-ball Spectacular was the last event on the two-month calendar for the league's four teams. Rather than a few innings played between just two teams, the Spectacular featured all four teams playing at the same time.
