Ahead of the upcoming NHL Draft, Alexis Downie caught up with Senior Draft Writer for NHL.com, Mike Morreale. Morreale shares insight of this year's top prospects and who he believes the Anaheim Ducks will have their eye at the number ten overall pick. Additionally, Morreale gives background on his conversations and observations from the NHL Combine.

Alexis Downie is joined by newly acquired left wing Chris Kreider following the Ducks trade with the New York Rangers today. Kreider discusses his excitement in joining the organization, what he can bring to the young team on the ice and his relationship with Trevor Zegras, Jacob Trouba, Ryan Strome and Frank Vatrano.

Longtime ESPN anchor Linda Cohn joins Alexis Downie this week to catch up on storylines with the ongoing Stanley Cup Final. The two also discuss the Anaheim Ducks offseason, hiring of Joel Quenneville and Cohn's outlook on the team's future. Additionally, Cohn shares her favorite memories anchoring Sportscenter Los Angeles.

The Anaheim Ducks have a new head coach! Alexis Downie breaks down Thursday's introductory press conference with sound from general manager Pat Verbeek (2:03) and head coach Joel Quenneville (3:54). Ducks owner Henry Samueli (6:15) spoke with the media afterwards to share his perspective of the process and expectations moving forward. Ducks players Frank Vatrano (20:02), Ryan Strome (23:50) and Troy Terry (27:46) also shared their excitement with the media. Additionally, we hear from survivor and friend, Chris Jensen (32:40), about being a part of the day.

The 2024-25 Anaheim Ducks season is officially over and it was a year of growth! Before the guys headed out of town, Alexis Downie caught up with a few of the young players to evaluate their seasons. Carey Terrance (1:19) and Austin Burnevik (14:20) joined Alexis Downie this week to recap the tournament, the emotional gold medal game for Team USA, seeing familiar faces and how their seasons are going with their respective teams.

We welcomed TNT and Chicago Blackhawks analyst Darren Pang back to Light the Lamp this week! Panger joined Alexis Downie to recap the Winter Classic game at Wrigley Field. Panger also talked about his transition to Chicago and the new Chicago Sports Network.

ESPN Rules Analyst and former NHL referee Dave Jackson joined Alexis Downie this week to talk through his career. Jackson shared his perspective of how officiating has adapted with the changing game of hockey, the community amongst referees and also shared some of his favorite stories. Additionally, Jackson gave a behind-the-scenes look of his day-to-day working with ESPN.

Alexis Downie is joined by newly acquired defenseman Jacob Trouba following the Ducks trade with the New York Rangers today. Trouba talks about his excitement on joining the Ducks organization, looking forward to being a leader on a hungry young team, his close friendship with Ryan Strome and Frank Vatrano and the awesome reason behind his new number!

Ahead of Women in Sports Weekend, Alexis Downie was joined by Hockey Hall of Famer, Olympian and co-founder of Sports Innovation Lab, Angela Ruggiero. The two chat about the upcoming weekend, Ruggiero's time growing up in California playing hockey and her journey with the sport. Ruggiero also shares the roots of her entrepreneurial spirit and how she's worked to grow women's sports.

PGA tour golfer and Orange County native, Jake Knapp, joined Alexis Downie in the Paul Kariya studio for a special edition of Light the Lamp! Knapp shares the story behind his partnership with the Anaheim Ducks, repping the team at tour events and how his fandom for his hometown team began.
